A Busy Week at Royal Ascot

Well what a week!  It was a rare pleasure to see so much of our lovely Duchess of Edinburgh attending every day of Royal Ascot this week and providing us with so many incredible fashion fixes.  I really cannot decide which of her outfits I preferred.  Comments below if you would like to let us know your favourites and why.

Day 1 - Monday, 19th June 2023

Lets see what happened today!!

Day 3, Wednesday 21st June 2023

Sophie looked absolutely stunning in yet another show stopper.  In my opinion this simple, classic and elegant look is the epitome of Sophie Chic!

Sophie joined, King Charles III and Queen Camilla to watch the King and Queen's horse "Circle of Fire" run in "The Queen's Vase" - There were some pretty animated expressions coming from the Royal Box which is always a pleasure to watch!

Day 4, Thursday 22nd June 2023

As with previous years it is always lovely to see Sophie enjoy the racing with her dear father who on day 4 accompanied his daughter in what looked to be a very happy day for them both.  The pair have enjoyed their racing events for many years and during this time have visited pretty much all the famous courses the UK has to offer, but no doubt these Royal Ascot visits together are the highlight of their racing year.

What Sophie Wore!

Hat - This sensational hat was created by Millinery, Jane Taylor.  It is a delicate powder blue with bespoke, handmade pansies made by Flower Maker Specialist Ann Tomlin who was quoted as saying "A triumph and a privilege to make silk pansies for this stunning hat".  The hat would retail around £1,600.

Here's a closer look at that incredible hat, front and back.

Day 5, Friday 23rd June 2023

Sophie accompanied Prince and Princess Michael of Kent in the carriage procession today.  It appeared to be a lucky day for the Duchess who was seen pumping the air with joy when her horse "Porta Fortuna" won the Albany Stakes with jockey Frankie Dettori, finishing his 80th and final win at Royal Ascot.

The Duchess who was clearly having a wonderful day alongside Catherine, Princess of Wales.  The couple were seen joking and enjoying each others company, I think they are genuinely great friends and confidant's and no doubt will benefit from this strong relationship as both their roles develop in the coming years.
